Rattan industry is facing opportunities to occupy 10% of the world market demand and revenues of about $ 1 billion from exports . According to statistics from the GDC , the end of 2013, exports of rattan, bamboo , sedge mats reached U.S. $ 229.7 million , an increase of 8.58 % compared with 2012.
