VN is the world No. 3 of rubber producer

Vietnam has just been published become the 3rd of rubber production . However, behind this boom even more potential worries .
Exceeded 1 million tons
The latest statistics of the Association of production of natural rubber ( ANRPC ) showed that Vietnam overtook Malaysia and India to become a producer of natural rubber, the 3rd largest in the world. According to ANRPC , 2013, rubber production in Vietnam is estimated at 1,043 million tons , an increase of 20.8 % over the previous year .
This is the first time in history , natural rubber production in Vietnam exceeded 1 million tons . As a result , Vietnam has climbed from No. 5 to No. 3 in the list of countries producing natural rubber leading .
Quality rubber in Vietnam is not well managed ( illustrations ) .
Although the rise is the 3rd country in the world rubber production but experts metaphor economists that Vietnam's rubber industry is only " to determine " only. Because according to economic experts , trade Pham Tat Thang , rubber production is large but rubber exports in recent years has become increasingly sluggish and declining .
The reason is simple as many rubber products but Vietnam lacks the required quality standards . " Along with the natural rubber supply exceeds demand , the lack of standards for quality rubber exports and the slowdown in economic growth in some key markets such as China , India has adverse impacts rubber exports to Vietnam " - Mr Thang said .
Figures from the General Statistics Office , in the first two months of the year , the total volume of rubber exports estimated to reach only 104,000 tons with turnover worth 215 million U.S. dollars, down 25.4 % in volume and 43.3 % in value compared with the same period in 2013. In fact , the price of rubber exports reached 1.2014 per month $ 2,069 / ton , down 23.9 % compared to the same period in 2013. Although China , Malaysia and India remain the market 's largest rubber consumption in Vietnam in May 1.2014 but tend to decline over the same period of 2013.
The lack of quality control
According to the Rubber Research Organization World ( IRSG ) and the Vietnam Rubber Association ( VRA ) , Vietnam Rubber existing restrictions uneven quality between state enterprises and small rubber filled . The rubber company to divert increasing pre-processing of latex categories according to customer needs . Thus, Vietnam new rubber favorable domestic and foreign markets .

This leads to the high quality of Vietnam's rubber export instability , reputation , brand rubber Vietnam is lower than other countries in the region , accompanied by the export price of rubber in Vietnam often lower than the same products in Thailand , Malaysia , Indonesia to several hundred dollars / ton .
Besides, Vietnam is still a lack of mandatory quality control and quality certificates for all export shipments rubber , should not create incentives or mandatory Vietnam enterprises interested assurance amount . During the period of intense competition as now, this is a big disadvantage for Vietnam rubber exports .
