ANRPC: main supply of natural rubber in the world

Since 2010, production of natural rubber (NR) has overcome the world annually 10 million tons / year, accounting for over 40% of the total rubber use. NR output of countries in the Association of producers of natural rubber (ANRPC) increases every year, contributing about 92-94% of the world NR.

By the end of 2011, the total area of NR in the world to reach 11.84 million hectares, accounting for 92.42% of Asia focuses on countries (ANRPC), the Americas: 5.14% and Africa 2, 44%, Latin America 2.5%. In Thailand it is headed, reaching 3,394 thousand tons; followed by Indonesia, Malaysia. However, led by mining productivity by India with 1,771 kg / ha before coming to Thailand, 1,771 kg / ha, Vietnam reached 1,700 kg / ha.


NR forecasts worldwide 2013 will reach 12.5 million tons, up 4.3% compared with 2012 Asia - Pacific region accounted for 90% continue to world NR production, notably Thailand , Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Vietnam and China. NR output forecast to rise more in Indonesia, Malaysia and Vietnam.

Consumption of natural rubber is always growing

NR is used largely for the production of tires, so the automobile market in the world's developing countries are major importers of rubber such as Japan, USA, China, India, Brazil.
