Copra meal is a byproduct of the production of coconut oil. Once pressed or extracted from coconut oil or coconut skin, the remaining residue is called copra. Copra is an additional source of energy with protein digestion makes it very valuable, rich in energy derived from oil, fiber content is relatively high, and no carbohydrates. Copra often used to make feed for domestic animals and poultry.
In the diet of pigs and poultry, should not use a large amount of copra dramatically. Inclusion of copra in the diet with small amounts and gradually increase. This helps pig and poultry feed containing adapt better copra.
